i'm back!

Hello friends! I didn't realize I'd been gone for so long, but sometimes life gets in the way of what you'd really like to be doing!

Here's a quick recap of life since the last post: I DID get to move into the wonderful, great, perfect house that I wanted to, and am now in discussions of purchasing the home!

I finally got a full time job after 1.5 years of unemployment. I now work as an Army Civilian contractor testing missiles and helicopters and such. Don't worry though, vintage living is still my passion!

My little computer didn't make the transition to 2012, so I haven't been able to add any new items to etsy in QUITE some time, however, I do keep shopping! This is getting to be quite a crowded thing!

Last month, March, I was incredibly blessed to be able to participate in the 2012 Anti-Fashion Show here in Huntsville - MUCH more on that to come, along with all the amazing clothes in the show!

I joined a friend of mine in her artist's studio at a wonderful place called The Flying Monkey. She produces beautiful jewelry, serving trays, lanterns, and other musings from recycled glass bottles. I make different household beauties from vintage dishware. Bird feeders, pedestal plates, yard flowers, clocks... (pictures to come!)

I hope to be back here blogging much more regularly, so for now, I'll leave you with a picture of my artist friend, Tara, and her darling daughter, Meadow!
