Ladies Lunch and Little Dresses

It snowed again last night, tiny little flakes that were too small to catch on your tongue, but when put all together, they made a nice little dusting over everything this morning. Of course it's already melted, but it sure was pretty!

So I just got back from lunch with 2 lovely ladies, Alli B and Ghazal, and Alli bought a few things from me after! She took a great blue apron with pretty floral trim and 2 sweet baby dresses for her friend's baby Delanie!

Snow-ppocolypse!

This past Monday we got around 8" of snow at my house, which turned out to be the 3rd largest snowfall in all of recorded history here in the Rocket City!! We celebrated by drinking hot chocolate, taking the puppy out to run around any letting one of the kitties out to run about!

This is my backyard, all peaceful, serene and untouched, until we released Bella!

The snow was so deep, he had to hop to get anywhere, the snow came up to his belly and he couldn't run!!

Then we decided to go for a spin in my trusty 4-wheel drive and this is what we found, snow and mess covered roads everywhere, and this is a pretty main and heavily travelled road!

And here is a pretty winter scene I found while out driving around. We also took Bohdie, our puppy, up on a sledding hill for a bit, he loved all the kids there, and then we went to Scott's sister's house and had a snowball fight with her 5-year-old twins! Bohdie loved that too, he was great at catching the snowballs and then eating them!

I hope you are having a fantastic winter day, I know I'm enjoying the change of scenery from dull brown everything to sparkly white wonderland!

New Things!!

Well, it's been a little while since I last posted, things get a little busy around the Holidays. But I have some very exciting news, Kitty's Vintage has launched a sister site on etsy, Kitty's Vintage Books!!

This site sells hardback books from the 40s-70s, older if I can find them. There are currently over 60 books listed, and many more to go up for sale. Please check out the new site.

As for Kitty's Vintage, there are new shoes going up, many dishes and beverage dispensers and glasses and owl figurines and wall hangings to come. My dad found a photo-box at an auction for me so the pictures to come should be quite awesome!

It's supposed to snow a lot tomorrow night and Monday, I really hope it happens and if so, I'll be sure to share some pictures!!
