caramel

Man-o-man do I love caramel! This time of year it starts to pop up everywhere. As I'm typing, I'm enjoying a salted caramel biscotti! One of these days I plan on putting my culinary skills to the test and making some homemade caramels, but for now, here are a few recipes involving this sweet treat!

Fluer de Sel Caramels

Caramel Apple Martini

equal parts: caramel (or unflavored) vodka, apple schnapps, and butterscotch schnapps - this one will knock your socks off, it's a favorite of mine, so delish!

There is definitely a chill in the air! I just LOVE this time of year. Alabama had a very mild winter, no spring and a hot summer, so I'm ready for it to cool off for a good while. I thought I'd share some wonderfully vintage pieces all reflecting the beautiful colors of fall!
